Our next reading group will be on Sunday 24th June at 17:30, again at NieuwLand (Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 93, Amsterdam).
This time we’re using video lectures instead of texts (ok so I guess that means technically it’s not a reading group…). We’ll be discussing talks by Dilar Dirik, who’s an activist in the Kurdish women’s movement and writes on Kurdish freedom struggle. This carries on our thinking about gender, and connects that to questions of how political and economic systems should be organised, through the idea of ‘democratic confederalism’.
If you’d like to join us, email us on email@example.com and we’ll send you the links.
Hope to see you on the 24th June!
