Deepening global crises surround us, causing many to fall into denial and despair. In this Work that Reconnects workshop, participants will work with their own grief, anger and fear as healthy responses to the harsh realities of our time, in a way that facilitates a transition away from paralysis and towards creative action.
The Work that Reconnects was developed by eco-philosopher and activist Joanna Macy in the 70s, and consists of creative exercises to do in pairs and groups. The Work that Reconnects has been used throughout the world since then as a way of healing burnout and depression in activists. This session will be 2 hours long and facilitated by Kate Honey as part of Good Societies.
